Yeah and after the PGA and media pumped him up to be its poster boy after the split with LIV. He cut it with me after the F you Phil comment on Full Swing. I’m admittedly a long time Phil fan geezer though.

Xander named Scottie. Rory said something like he felt like he was in a position where he was protecting Scottie and TaylorMade.
He met with the media after his round today, btw. Did not go scorched earth, but confirmed that his lack of availability after rounds has been because of his frustration with the media over the driver coverage.

To be fair the media are annoying AF I wouldn’t want to talk with them either.

Especially if the player performs poorly. I have no issue with the player skipping a post round presser as long as they are available other times.
I wouldn’t want to have answer questions after a shitty round either.
