Does anyone know what type of condition the Wetlands is in right now? I’m going to be in Lafayette next weekend and figured I may try to get a round in. My son played there in the US kids tournament a couple years ago and I remember it being a pretty decent course, or at least better than what they generally play. But also saw a thread on here from last year around this time about how they lost the greens? Any idea how the courses right now?

It stays in the most consistently good condition of all the courses open for public play in our area.

The last 2 times I played in the 6 weeks prior to the high school state tournament, the pins were all 6 feet from the fringe off the front and back, keeping play off the greens as much as possible

Pissed me off, but understandable. LOL

Lol. I’m not knocking Cane Row. I would put the Wetlands above Cane Row because of their fairways.

Cane row is perfect, for New Iberians. AND it keeps them out of Lafayette. Lol.

Bring plenty of water to drink. There is no water available on the course. Don’t try taking a divot.

Wasn’t bad at all. Enjoyed the layout. No cart girl so that was a bit aggravating but they filled up an ice chest for us. The cart died coming up ninth fairway. It also happened to the people that were playing in front of us. I’m not sure why that was a problem.
