re: Well, it finally here and there is no turning back.

I will be 72 soon. I play in a scratch league, and the bar for being competitve goes up every year. I am giving up 30 to 40 yards off of the tee now which is tough sleding on 380 to 400 yd par 4s. Playing a 7 or 8 iron heads up vs someone that is hitting a club with a letter on it feels like insanity. I am still competitve when I am on, but moving to the whites is something I think about daily. My problem is that I will need to change leagues because the current one only allows blue tee players.

Sigh. Getting old sucks.
