I took about a 16 on #16 one year in that thing. Hit tee ball into the canal then forgot how to swing from the drop zone. Shot 12 was like a chip 9 iron straight across the canal. 07-08 maybe?

Congratulations to Wendell Akins on Winning the 2024 Webb Course Championship. Wendell followed an even par 72 on Saturday with a three under par 69 on Sunday to finish at three under par 141. This got Wendell in a playoff with Jeremy Gautreaux who shot 69 on Saturday and 72 on Sunday. Wendell made a birdie on the first playoff hole to take home the 2024 course championship.
Chris Kieren shot two under par 70 on Sunday to finish in a tie for third place with Mac McGurn at one under par 143. First round leader Elliot Aucoin finished in fifth place at even par 144.
Stephen Maciasz shot a Sunday 73 to win the First Flight with a 151 total. Cameron Bruce and Mike Scurria finished one shot behind him at 152. In the Second Flight Caleb Wilson won the tie-breaker with Peter Mata at 167.
Congratulations again to Wendell Akins and thanks to everyone who played. Hopefully we will see you in a couple of weeks at the J.S. Clark Course Championship on April 6th & 7th.

Jeez I should have entered. I ve shot under the last 3 times I've played webb. Simple course if you play smart. Only a few challenging holes.
2 only because of green
9 depending on flag
18 all depends on drive

Played Webb today and I’m not really sure how they putted on the greens this weekend. It’s just poke and hope for a good bounce off the poa. They are fast as shite though, mostly due to no grass on them.

Course sucks. Until they blow all of the greens up it will continue to suck. Same with Santa Maria.

Supposedly Mike Johnson is in position there to get everything in order. Maybe LSU should get him again?
