Got a Taylor Made Sim2 max. Hits well but reflects my slice more than the “Sure Thing” at Top Golf lol. Wife and I like to go to top golf. Last year she got a driver. We are shopping irons and putters next. Got the blisters to show for two hours and did get some pretty straight shots at times. Definitely getting 25 yards more on average. We are just starting out and hope to play a course by the end of the summer.
Wife went to GolfTec couple weeks ago. Shes putting her clubs together.
We aren’t buying set irons to save on budget.
I ordered a Callaway 5H for the gap in yardage. 5 clubs total for me, driver, putter, wedge, 7 iron and the 5H.

Got a second club 7 iron. Been practicing 2-6 hours per week at least. What underwear are you guys wearing? I’m soaked after 30 mins! :-/

Played my first 18 holes today. Did not keep score and did very little putting. Just wanted to get out and see what temps and conditions are like. Had some great shots and some flubs. Sweat is the enemy. I had two gloves just to keep one dry. Went free ballin and I only played with a 7 iron a driver a 56 14 wedge and a putter. It’s alll I got. I need a fairway wood or iron hybrid.

For sweat, go to Academy Sports and get you a rosin bag out of baseball section. Slap it on both hands every couple of holes and it does wonders!!!!

Did this yesterday and played 2 hours at top golf this morning with the wife and then we went and played 18 this afternoon on the course. It saved our gloves from the sweat!
