Heading up to Tulsa next week for a training class. I'll be there Monday - Thursday. Which courses do you recommend and which courses should I Stay away from?

We have a fundraiser at The Club at Indian Springs. It is the only place I have ever played around Tulsa. It is a pretty nice course. Not super challenging but some fairways are kind of narrow.

Southern Hills is the obvious answer
Tulsa CC isnt a bad track
Drive out to the Patriot, a little outside town... awesome course

We played Cherokee hills and cedar ridge.
Cherokee hills was a cool historic layout with front 9 designed by same guy that did southern hills if I’m not mistaken. Back 9 was also good but you could tell a difference between design. It got loud by the highway from traffic. I enjoyed the course for the price. Your ball will disappear in the native grass here and you won’t find it unless you step on it.
Cedar ridge was good but not great, I really liked the back 9. I remember some construction going on that was a little distracting.
Wind was a huge deal at both courses. You should prepare and expect it. Wind was also kind of cold to where it was distracting so I would pack a jacket just in case. Our playing parterns spent $100’s in clubhouse to buy a jacket at turn. This was all in late April.
I don’t think there were many good public options when I looked. Now that I type that, I hit up the range at Lafortune park and seeing that course made me with I had opted to play it.
