Playing there on Saturday for the first time. Looks nice enough from what I've seen online. Anyone got a review?

It's a really fun layout. Only a couple of bad holes, and a few really good ones. Greens can be hit or miss, heard they're just ok right now. Good value for the price.

Fun course and good value. Front nine is a newer “modern” layout and the back nine is an older style with turtle-back greens. The range balls appear to have been used back in the ‘60s.

As noted above, the greens are hit-or-miss.

Fun course. Something got the greens on the front this year. They are pretty bad. Back 9 is better

It's very long and you will have some blind shots but it is very fun.

???? Outside of the par 5s you rarely ever have to hit driver.

Eta: and down wind you don't or can't hit driver on 3 of the par 5s

Lot of elevation changes and some blind shots. Always have a good time there though. Probably should play there more often honestly.

So you hitting pitching wedge on every part 4 second shot? Eat shite loser. This course plays long quit trying to create an argument that isn't there. I've played every course in North La and I hit the ball fairly hard. I still need my low irons, hybrid, and 3 wood for this course quite regularly.

It's 6750 from the tips.

1 is a short par 4
2 is a par 5 you can't hit driver on if it's downwind and it's firm
4 is maybe a 7 iron into the wind
6 is a 7 iron max
7 is a wedge if you work the ball right to left
8 is a driver maybe 8 iron, usually 9 or wedge
9 is long par 5
10 is short
11 is a 3 wood wedge if you hit the right shape
13 is a par 5 you sometimes can't hit driver on
14 is a driver, wedge
16 is a reachable par 5 with an iron if it's down wind
17 is a decently long par 4
18 is a driver usually wedge

The longest hole on the card is 11 at 413 and the fairway plays downhill. You don't even need a driver to have like 130 in on that hole.

Me too, off the tee, but in no wind you're never going to have more than 160-170 into a par 4. That's a knockdown to 102% 8 iron for me.
