I played a couple of weeks ago. The course was excellent. The fairways were like carpet.

The greens were a little slower than normal as the normal grass was coming in trough the overseed. But they are nice.

Did the changes they made make the course better in any way? I've been meaning to see for myself.

There aren't any real noticeable changes to the course. It was basically a regrassing. Maybe the members who play there 2-3 times a week see differences, but I've played there dozens of times, and I haven't noticed any changes other than the new grass either time I've played since it reopened. Conditions are primo right now other than the greens being a little on the slow side.

Played today, echo medtiger, couldn't notice any real changes. You could tell they've been watering the place, fairways were soft in spots. But, green surrounds were fairly firm, you could run the ball up, use putter from 5-10 feet off. I was impressed, looking to play again soon out there.

How much does it cost to play right now? Can you just show up and play during the week or do u have to make a tee time ?

Any changes made were very minor. They may have flattened a few greens in places. The greens basically had all the grass killed and started over, so they wont be exactly the same.

That depends on time of day and if you are a Louisiana Resident. Any where from about $75 to over $100.
But during the week there are typically lots of tee times available.

Call or book online.

Played again today. Greens rolling real nice and the course in general seems to be in really good condition. Definitely recommend... can also get a pretty solid discount if you get a hot deal thru golf now.

It’s nice for sure. Greens were a little slow this weekend but rolled very true.

Played in March and it was great. Really firm around the greens.
