The only course of those I've playe dis TPC, how would you rank TPC, La Tour, Bayou Oaks, English Turn?
I’ve only played ET once, but I would say LT, ET, TPC, BO

If the cart fee is included in the $300 then la tour is about on par with other courses in the area. Maybe a tad more expensive but nothing substantial.
I don't think la tour is that much better than the New Orleans area courses to get many members from there. Personally I rather ellendale over la tour but understand it gets a lot of hate on here. Either way it's very hard to make the numbers work for la tour given the price point and the experience. Using the model they are, they must make money on outside events and f&b. I just don't see it and would like to see them try something different.

Which NO courses?
Bayou Oaks greens are flat as hell and although it is in good shape, it’s pretty meh
Lakewood LOL
TPC has a 50% chance of being punched and a 100% chance of being soaked any time you show up
Ellendale made a stupid decision about their greens and are still paying for it
Nothing bad to say about the 1 time I played ET

Be interesting to see if LaTour participates in GolfNow. Not sure how that works but I assume the course contacts them and they work out some specials.

$15 12:50pm Hot Deals were GOAT
Posted on 4/11/18 at 10:02 am to Front9Bandit
We used to play latour 8 times a month for $100
Really at $100 that’s not far off from other courses in the area. That’s including tax and range balls. I know oaks is 89 plus tax. Not sure if that includes balls at that shitty range. TPC is about the same. Ellendale is $75 last time I played. That was with my group so not sure if they gave us discount. frick it was $50 to play Audubon a couple weeks ago

I will say Audubon is the most overpriced golf in the country

mailman I’ll pay your green fees to come play tip and tuck. You get to see the course and not pay and you’ll quit golf. Everybody wins.

Beers on path
3w out of the bunker to 4 feet

Friend played there today.
In his words "fairways nice, greens sandy and bumpy. Not worth $100 yet."

Calm down big guy. If you knew the amount of bullshitters on this board you'd be skeptical too.
