Thinking about getting back into golf, my equipment is 13-15 years old, need to upgrade, looking at the Sub 70 Line of irons. Does anyone have any experience with them. Thanks.

I have the 699 irons and I really like them. I’m 16 handicap and the irons are perfect for me.

I’ve finally got to hit them in person. It’s a good looking solid iron. You really can’t beat the price. I’ve heard nothing but good about their customer service and ordering process.

I have the pros and i love them. You cant beat the price and the service you get from sub 70. I called jason, the CEO, and he walked me through what I would need and recommended the best option. My miss is left with my irons so he recommended the pros over the 699 bc of less offset. I would definitely call them and talk with them, they will take as much time as you need to get you the right set.

Thanks for the input, has anyone tried their other products, wedges, fairway woods, hybrids, and drivers? What shafts do you have in the pros?

I had their 4 wood with a Riptide shaft, it was pretty solid.

Let a friend borrow it and he won't give it back lol...

Has to be better than hitting them virtually or over the phone.

TA III wide-body putter with single alignment dot is awesome! I’ve had many, including Camerons and Bettinardis, but damn I love this one!!!

I demoed and reviewed a set of the 699 Pros for another site. The irons felt amazing, went straight, and were long. My problem was the lack of spin I got. Because of that, I had random fliers, especially in the morning when dew was still present. I've never experienced anything similar with my Srixon irons, which are known for being lower spin heads themselves.

Ordered my first Sub 70 product today in the 699 Pro utility 4 iron. Got it pre-owned, so slightly discounted.

If I like it, I might pull the trigger on a set of the 699 or 699 Pros.

I ordered the 699 Pro satin irons 5-PW, 3 JB Wedges and a 949X 4 wood. They are really very good golf clubs. I was a PGA Club Pro for 30 years, would put these clubs up against any pro line clubs out there. The PRICE is just an added value. Thinking about ordering a 7 wood and a 3 hybrid now.

They are having 10% off pre-owned now if you decide to go that route.

Not sure about availability of the 7 wood and hybrid models, but might be worth checking.

At the risk of losing my Srixon cult card, I just ordered the 699 pro black out 5-AW Project X 6.0 shaft +1' 2*upright $740

They are sexy … I like how the black finish almost hides the screw in the toe of the club.

I was waiting! Let’s consider this my black mistress. I’ll turn in my card if I switch.

Ordered the 699 Pro models several months ago and no regrets. Great value and clubs. Love way they look, feel, and sound.

Their customer service is great as well (although ordered mine standard with no mods other than KBS shafts). I also have the 699 Pro 2 utility iron with Aldila shaft and 699 Pro 4 utility iron with KBS shaft.

The JB Wedges are really good, I got the 50, 55, & 60 degree, all low bounce. I am also thinking about the 4 utility iron now.
