I just joined. Sent in my initiation 2 days ago and hope to play Sunday if we aren’t swimming. Michelle is gone (what a shame cause she was easy on the eyes and daddy liked). Ashlee is really nice. Sorry King Ranch, BC won out over Money Hill. Location is more convenient and the wife liked the all the young kids running around and i don’t give a shite as long as i get to play once a week.

Reading back through this thread does Beau Chene not make membership go through a formal process? As in you just talk to the membership director, sign up and give an initiation? A little surprised to hear that.

Also, out of curiosity what is the deal with the range balls being in a vending machine now? Seemed a little strange for a private club.

They have always done that for range balls. Covid made them leave them out for everyone. They stopped recently. Which I agree is dumb. Even if the people hitting free range balls aren’t members maybe you get someone to join.

Got it. Non-member residents seemed like the only reason I could think of but still found it a little odd. But, if it works for them then that’s all that matters and I was just curious.

I guess it’s considered a “process”. But every club i spoke to (MC, BC, TC) on the northshore said it’s about a 2-5 day process.

Good to see several TD Golf Board guys joining. I am a member and live in BC. There’s several organized games on Fridays and Sundays if y’all are ever interested in joining. I’m 35 so mostly play with the Sunday 10 am younger group but will play with the older guys on Friday’s around 11. Geaux Cup thankfully was rescheduled so if you’re interested you might be able to get in. IMO it’s one of the best run member guests tournaments out there.
