I decided to play the course while I was on business I Jackson this week. I thought it was in nice shape and well maintained, including the greens. I only paid $35, because I stayed at the Sheraton, so the price was very reasonable s

Yeah they've done a good job rebuilding that area.

Only issue is during the summer, it gets so hot in that swamp. You'll sweat your bag off in no time.

Played there in November. The greens are different, almost fake, but not in a bad way. Not sure how to explain it other than it looked like there were no blades of grass. They rolled smooth but were tough to read.

The layout itself is just OK. There are a lot of hidden ditches if you haven’t played there before.

Haven’t played since the renovation. Blake, the pro, came from Fallen Oak. He used to be our assistant pro at Reunion.

Thinking. Not sure. Are you at the U?

Don’t think so.

I’m a member at reunion and live in the neighborhood. I fish the lakes a lot too. Your avatar is familiar but I can’t place it.

I completely agree with this comment. I played it last year shortly after it had reopened. The greens were firm and fast and they did a great job with it but I really had an issue with the layout. The old course had a ton more trees and it helped each hole feel separate and individual. They removed a ton of that and it felt like the course was on too small a plot of land and all the holes were on top of eachother.
