But, he's also an A-1 a-hole. The incessant and sycophantic media coverage is awful and I'm ready for it to end or settle back.
The media coverage is somewhat Tiger's fault too, as his p.r. machine constantly feeds the media with stories (which is their job).
I was good with Tiger until Shane Bacon started reporting golf on Yahoo. I know him from Camp Fern, and 2/3 of his articles would be the regurgitation of tripe from Tiger's p.r. people. Tiger doesn't play for a year? Doesn't matter, Bacon was going to write about him. It was almost comical.

So you want guys that make their living writing about stuff people care about to write about stuff that no one cares about because you don't want to read it? That's a pretty dumb and self centered take. I love Tiger, but I don't give a shite what he eats for dinner on Tuesdays either so I just don't consume the content.
You admitted you don't like the coverage of him, which he has little control over. It's a hate the player, not the game deal.
