They had huge internet problems! Like you had to get”grandfathered” in when you bought a house up there. Astonishing but a homeowner said they had to get the governor involved they had huge internet access issues. It’s a spectacular layout and in great shape is the second best course in Louisiana, squire creek is next level!

Get a good whiff of the poo plant from Gardere. Maybe when the river comes up it could create GUR sinkholes like at Beaver and Bluffs.

You are correct. I was not paying attention.

Is it #3 or #4 that’s the 200 yard uphill par 3? That is the toughest hole around.

They’ve changed the routing a few times. It was #4 when it closed. And you are right, very hard to hit and if you missed the green there was no easy second shot, and the green was always fast with alot of slope.

I used to carry a 7 wood that would consistently land a ball perfectly on that green. It was my rescue club before I actually learned how to really swing a club

You should tell all the tour pros that carry a 7 wood that need to learn how to really swing a club.

Why? My situation has nothing to do with them. There was a time this was the only club I could count on to save my stupid butt. I learned a better swing. I no longer carry it because what I could do with it, I can now do with a 5i.

Your gatekeeping for pros who carry one makes no sense. I said I sucked…. Not everyone who has one sucks. Don’t be so angry. Lemme buy you a beer and a dog at the turn.
