Just got invited to play Sunday. Have read the recent thread about the terrible waits hopefully it’s not as bad on Sunday. More curious about the layout and condition.

One of my favorite courses in the area. I played about a month ago and it was in great shape then. Its a great layout with a good mix of hole lengths. You will definitely enjoy it, barring a cluster on the first tee....

It is a fun track. The club house is neat in that you drive your cart through it.

I hate #9 (it might be #18 now). You will know it when you play it.

Course is normally in great shape. I plan on going out there next week. It can be busy. Just depends on what time you are playing

It’s a fun layout with really good greens. It’s been probably 3 weeks since I played it last but thought the course was in excellent condition

The course is fun and always in great shape. The issue as of late is the new management and their piss poor handling of tee times and overbooking the course

Playing 1030 Sunday just hoping to keep the round around 4 hours.

Carter is a great track. And it’s actually more challenging the faster it plays in my opinion. The green fee being north of 70 is a little steep but if the greens haven’t been punched recently, it’s worth it.

The greens are difficult in the sense that a lot of your putts from inside of 10 feet will have movement. But it's a great course and has some good holes.

I can go one by one, if you really want.

It's possible, but that's probably contingent on you being able to tee off at 10:30. I think there was a thread last week about a 45 minute delay on the first tee from them overbooking.

My last round out there was over 5 and a half hours. Normally I would've just left but it was part of our league tournament and I had to finish. It was ridiculous

Carter is a really nice track. If you check the Golfnow app you can get rounds for $45 opposed to $75. You’ll have to set the tee time days in advance to get it though.
