No im saying he competed with a piece of equipment that didn’t conform. I haven’t seen anything about him being tested at Augusta.

It’s wild that you made this thread knowing you could just click a few buttons and research this and see how testing works. This happens all the time. These players hit 1000s of balls with a driver. The face gets in and worn out and becomes non conforming. They don’t know when it happens but it will happen over time. This is why they do the testing.
There is no asterisk as his driver was conforming at the time. How was it? Well there was no reports of it failing. shite, half the hacks on her playing 10 year old drivers won’t conform to a test. This is a non story and you’d know that if you even read about it.

You don’t know that it didn’t conform at Augusta.
You could test my driver this morning and it be conforming. I practice all day and play a round or two. Test it again and it could be non-conforming. The face wears down, especially considering how hard he hits the ball.

Blueboxer, many people newer to the game of golf get on here and make ridiculous posts and end up getting corrected. It has happened time and again. Don’t be so quick to make assertions that are so easily refuted on this board by posters who have been playing the game a long time. Just take the L and try to learn the rules and as a new golfer, work to improve your own game.
