Tee shot over a hotel.

Road and rock path behind the green without relief.

Out of bounds right lined by like 3 pubs.

Fun to watch but gimmicky

I agree, and I love it. For those that remember LSU course before the redo, the 14th hole was called “the barn hole”. A corrugated metal round roof barn was right where the road hole’s hotel is at St Andrew’s. You could actually land the ball on the roof with enough speed, and it would roll over the roof and land in the fairway. My favorite hole.

My only complaint is that is requires a left to right ball flight, and I don't have that. I bogeyed it.

I remember that hole being one of the toughest I ever played. It's not gimmicky, it's pure awesomeness.

Maybe he has to do that to relieve stress on one of his legs due to a careless traffic accident.

To the OP. frick you and your barely-functioning mind. Great hole.

If you’re gonna go down at least swing the big dog and not a 3 wood

HA! I tried the driver off the first two holes. Did not go well.
Rental clubs not set up for me. 3-wood worked fine.
It wasn't the drives that hurt me.

I would imagine you're not as good at lag putting 120 foot putts like the pros

What time of year did you go? I'm looking to go in 2024.

Best hole on the course.

That road has caused a lot of grief through the years.
