Looking for the optimal combination of good price, course condition, and non-stuffy atmosphere. Good pace of play would be nice too. Anything between Sulphur and Breaux Bridge and North to around Oakdale.

What do you guys recommend? Need somewhere that doesnt require a membership

Koasati Pines at Cushotta in Kinder. Course always seems to be in great condition and reasonably priced.
Define “good” pace of play.

I haven't been in the area for around 5 years, but when I lived there my rankings were thus:

1. LCCC
2. Koasati Pines
3. Gray Plantation
4. Mallard Cove (I have not played the new one though, and it is probably better)
5. Golden Nugget
6. Lauberge
7. Frasch
