I haven't played BC, so not sure where to put it in the group.

I played money hill about 18 months ago and it was absolute garbage. Summer time and it looked like a goat ranch. Carter and Beau Chenne imo are the best with BC being top dog. Carter for the price and conditions can’t be beat.

Money Hill is the best track. The closing stretch of holes is particularly good. The greens were not very good a few weeks ago, and I heard this week they are redoing them very soon. Don’t quote me on that however.

Agree with this. I never got to play TCC, but I did get to compete in a few bbq competitions out there.

I was there 2-3 weeks ago, and there were 2-3 greens that are in bad shape, but the others were fine for this time of year. The fairways were thin, but I chalked that up to it being January without overseed.

Played Carter the very next week, and I've never been on a golf course that was more wet and muddy. And it only rained a half inch the day before. Bunkers and greens were fantastic, but there were some holes I had to move my ball 10 yards or more to find a playable lie in the fairway. They have a drainage issue.

One of worst courses in America. And they charge an arm and a leg.
Course is horrible

I’ll say this about Knoll...when we went, every green was basically 90% sand. I refuse to believe that’s how it always is. Must have caught it during some maintenance. But as far as the course itself, the layout is actually pretty nice. It has an Audubon Park vibe to it. I agree it is over priced and is not in the top tier category of the NS, but it isn’t awful by any means.

Member of Moneyhill since ‘98. Greens to redone next year. New greens keeper about 6 months ago and he is doing a good job. We’re not in good shape with other guy. Also fixing the bunkers. In spite of the weather, course much better than 6 months ago.

That’s great news. It’s such a great layout snd the conditions were really disappointing a while back. Hope y’all get it back to where it once was. Great course!

SMLR, how’s Money Hill currently? Wife snd I are about to setup a tour. What’s their plan to put the members once they redo greens and bunkers? Any input is appreciated. Any particular selling point to give to the Mrs to pursuade her?

Carter just got a new fleet of golf carts with GPS for what it’s worth. I’ve played there a lot over the years. They also just switched 9’s so you tee off across the road behind the new pool area

Bluetooth, GPS, & FM Radio since you have to wait so long in between shots lol.

But for real though, the new carts out there are super nice
