Anybody played there recently? Some buddies and I are thinking about taking a ride. What kind of shape is it in? Played the front 9 there once then rain caught us but I remember enjoying a course with a little elevation changes.

How bout greens? They looked rough a couple months ago with lots of bare patches. Better?

Only played it once, was in a light misty rain. Deer were everywhere. From what I remember it was a pretty decent layout.

Same here D. Very first hole there was a doe and a fawn slap in the middle of the fairway.

Ikr. So different than what we used to down here. That's probably what I enjoyed about it the most. I remember the pro shop / concession area being sparse but it didn't bother us because I think the round was like 35 bucks. And they had a range. I'm good with that. Wish it was closer actually.

Great tract in good shape. For the price it can’t be beat. Had some food and drink options. A couple of the green edges were in repair but nothing major. Green speeds and breaks varied, only complaint about the whole day.

Played it last summer. Apparently the state sold the course to a private group. Based on some other posters, hopefully they are spending more on maintenance. The layout and elevation changes are great.
