It's like to uproar over MJ gambling.
Who gives a frick as long as they aren't betting on their own sport?

I didn’t know there was any uproar over Phil’s gambling. Seemed like the uproar surrounding Phil was because he made stupid comments.

This story you linked is from 2019! Why is it news now?

Yeah, I don't think anybody is upset about it, but it makes his actions involving LIV make more sense. It's all part of the story. All of his complaining about media rights, helping create the LIV thing, and his comments about the PGA make way more sense if he is a guy deep in debt from gambling that sees his earning potential with the PGA diminishing.

Agreed.
It also seems that lost in all of this is the fact that Phil, who was contracted to the PGA “, was actively conspiring to undermine his “employer”.
I’d imagine if Rummy was actively conspiring against TD while being an admin, Chicken would have a similar reaction as the Commissioner did to Phil. Why people seem to struggle understanding why Phil fricked himself and why he deserves to be where he is, is perplexing.
