Did some research and that Tensei AV White raw shaft is beautiful (pause lol)

Also sounds promising and less harsh than a hazurdus. How was the stiff vs x stiff decision made? Because you probably definitely have enough speed for either.

I’m coming from a high/high graffaloy pro launch blue x stiff and I had similar ballooning and spinning problems to your ping. Although I love the club and it’s still my gamer. It’s not as long as the new tech, but I can find the middle and shape it both ways. I also don’t feel like I need to leave the range or course in a body bag after swinging it. The Graf Pro launch Blue is incredibly smooth and lively.

Honestly I put all my trust in buddha and just kept hitting balls until he told me to stop. Not gonna pretend to know shite about equipment.

He actually initially put me into a VA composites Nemesys, but that was a 300 dollar upgrade vs the tensei that could be ordered with no upcharge. He told me that since the two shafts had a similar profile it was worth a shot to go with the tensei first for no extra money and see how it went. I guess he didn’t have on in his shop for me to try that day idk.

He said if I was dying to get into the nemesys he’d order it for me. I think I’m gonna stick with the Tensei

If you ever decide to change, VA composite shafts are the real deal.

Nice knock baw. My back is still cooked from last week lol. I don’t think I have that in the tank.

Btw I don’t think you need that $300 shaft if you can hit it 325 with the one you have lol.

Tbh I did not go to the range today to hit bombs lol. My shite was legitimately jacked up until like yesterday after that session last week. I just caught a good one middle/middle.

Another sign of getting old. 10 years ago I’m probably sore for a day after that session. Maybe not even. Now it's like 3 or 4 days of feeling cooked.

I wasn’t even going to go today, but I gave it a try since you challenged me lol.

I hit about a dozen drives over 300, but none over 309. Think I mistimed the wind by about 15 minutes. With the wind, I hit a PW 160, 8i-180, 7-200, 6-220, 3w off deck 285. None of which are new tech and all have weak, old school lofts (mp-32’s). Wind was definitely giving me an extra 20 yards.

Picked up driver, wind almost completely died, and I still really was just lacking on my ball speeds by 4-8mph. I’d crush one and the tracer would say 160-162 ball speed. I was hitting 166-171mph just last week lol. Not sure if the tracers are inconsistent or I was just slower today.

I’ll leave the long drives to you baws until Spring next year. My body is feeling old and tired. I’m going to work on some 260-280 ish fairway finders for the rest of the year. I really don’t think I can hit one 325 right now unless I get the right range ball and a gust of wind or spend $300-500 to optimize my driver shaft.

I bought a small Ping range bag for this very reason. I'll put whatever clubs I intend to work on and leave the driver at home. I can't help myself

I knew the day the got the top tracer online that I would be tempted to just hit nukes every session.

Need self control to do more toptracer 12 or 30 and less long drive comp

I’ve gotten pretty good at golf swing. Unfortunately still suck at golf.

Tag, you are it lol

I think I had 335-340 in me today, but the range ball quality was abysmal. Still managed to tag a few over 310. This shot had 172 Ball Speed, 12 Launch, 95 Ft Apex, Draw spin, 289 Carry,

I’ve figured out some things with my driver the past 2-3 sessions. Using the ground as leverage/trampoline though impact is the main thing. I think my driver swing was too armsy for most of the year and it was putting a lot of strain on my left rotator cuff.

oh boy

I was up at a range on the northshore today and was HAMMERING it. Need to get back out to bayou oaks.

Like I said in the other thread I had a 333 last week but that number was some top tracer bullshite. It was a big swing, but top tracer gave me 51 yards of rollout lmao. Wouldn't feel right posting that one. Also it was on the warm up mode instead of long drive so wouldn't have even shown up on the leaderboard.

I honestly feel like I need a couple lessons simply to make my swing more efficient and less strain on my body. I took a break from hitting driver at the range and things eventually got better, but now after a few driver sessions I can feel more soreness than I'm happy with.

I actually think your 51 yard rollout might have been legit. You might have landed on a rock or a sprinkler head, or a family of coyotes out there, lol.

I also do think TopTracer just guesstimates. I find it to be accurate 98% of the time based on shots I can see land and roll out. But 1 day, I caught one low off the face, and nailed the cart guy. And I think Top tracer still gave me credit for about 80 yards of roll out lol.

But yeah, you definitely have 330 plus in you. I just had to humble brag a bit. My body/ shoulder felt destroyed 6 weeks ago. I randomly felt like I was 25 again today and was able to catch a few good ones lol. But I do think the lower body is key to generating that extra power without putting too much strain on your arms/shoulders.

I will also say. I purchased a driving 2 iron a few weeks ago and my overall ball striking has improved a lot, since practicing with it.

Leave it to me to suck all year and then randomly peak in December

Could be wrong but I think top tracer only measures the actual ball flight and uses an algorithm to come up with the roll out.

I was wrecked for weeks when we started this thread. Maybe it was just time from taking a break, but I went to a friends place who has a cold plunge on his back deck. 2 three minutes session in the cold plunge and I felt better/less soreness than I had in like a month.

Absolutely.. today I started double, triple , double, double... Then went on a 11 straight hole par run.. only to finish bogey,bogey,bogey...

That wasn't today, that was earlier this year... Wasn't sure on the long drive timeline stipulations.. Had one bounce off a sprinkler head and net me around 400 from the tee on a par 5.. ended up with birdie because I'm retarded and missed the putt for eagle

Today was a rough day.. I rarely and I mean rarely double a hole at my home course.. today was an especially egregious mental lapse of a day...

I hit 338 earlier this month. I was hype because that’d but me at like 2nd all time as of the start of this thread. Then I checked the leaderboard and saw that I was 16th
