What’s the verdict? Share some pics

Shot an 87.
I’d attribute 4-5 stokes to having absolutely no clue what I was firing at with approach shots(we walked with no caddie for $50). With that I guess I’ll start with the greens.
They were absolutely wild. I’ve played PGA National and been to every PGA tournament in Florida and have never seen anything even close to these things. The severity of the hills in these greens are just, wild. It was windy af and they were easily the fastest greens I’ve ever been on.
There are more than a few approach shots that are pretty much blind. Either so elevated that you have no clue what the green is doing or so sunken into a bowl that you can’t see the flag at all. Not even from 20 yards away.
Huge fairways. I only lost 1 ball, and it was on an approach shot. Only 1 hole where water is a factor. Only had to pull driver about 5 times. The ball runs out a ton and the par 5’s are so long and guarded that driver off the tee isn’t much of an advantage.
It’s basically just get the ball in the fairway and then be dialed tf in with irons to damn near unthinkable green complexes.
The greens are large but if you’re not on the correct section(of which each green has about 4-7 of) you’re scrambling for your life. I chipped and putted better than I ever have, but got burned by not fully knowing where I needed to be in the greens and having relatively small misses end up in wild places. The absence of fringe on the back of some of these roller coaster type greens is what got me the most.
Twice I clubbed up on front hole locations to make sure I wasn’t short and dead only to realize there’s nothing to keep your ball from dessert off the back where there’s zero fringe.
I played REALLY well for me and was proud as hell with my 87, especially with no caddie. It would have resulted in an 80 or so at my home course.
Even thought it’s tough it was one hell of a time. I watched my golfball do things I’ve never seen it do before

The benefits of having a caddie. I played Cascata in Vegas and some of the tips the caddie gave me about where to hit the approach shot and putting lines I would have never figured out on my own. One putt seemed to defy physics so I ignored his advice and putted the ball on the line I saw and the ball rolled 40ft away in a direction that was bewildering to me.
Streamsong is my next golf trip...maybe spring. It wasn't there when I lived there during residency.

Black is fun filled with blind shots. Red is the best course. Enjoy!

Blue is a lot of fun. Probably the "easier" of the three. Greens have insane breaks/undulation.

That sounds so much more fun than a tight, tree lined, water-laden, “regular” golf course with flat greens
I never worry about my score when I play places like that, I just love hitting the shots and laughing at the ball bounding and rolling all over.

Love that course but get a caddy. Lots of tricky greens and club selection is crucial.

Mosaic idling plants in Louisiana. Makes me wonder how the golf course will fare. Do the employees work for Mosaic or a management firm.
