I am just getting back in to golf after 10 years (injuries due to rheumatoid arthritis) . I've been playing again for about 6 months. So I've been playing the more forgiving easier courses. The ground was so hard, that i could hear the ball click when it hit the ground. The greens were like putting on concrete with pebbles every so often. Ive been playing there every week or two,but this was the worst that I have seen. I sure hope they let the grass on the greens grow a little, and water them more during these droughts.
I know Webb is under repair, but what about City Park? Anyone have any status update?

City Park

I played City Park a week ago, the greens were the worst I've seen there in a long long time. Not to mention it gets so insanely crowded in the afternoon, it's just not a very enjoyable time when the greens are horrible and there are people casually walking through the course and fishing everywhere.

Thanks. BREC seems to are cutting the greens too low, and with the current heat and drought they are basically dirt.

Shame.

Played Dumas yesterday too. Been playing it at least once a week for about 4 weeks. The greens were nice a couple of weeks ago but really slow. When they finally cut them low, they didn't recover well. I think it will probably get punched in the next week or so. Webb was the same way and got punched Monday and Tuesday. They have been getting a lot of play since the Covid 19. I normally like to go there because it is never crowded.

Really wish BREC would just focus on Webb, Santa Maria, City Park and Beaver Creek.

Webb should be straight up primo.

It’s in a great location.

Webb should be awesome.

No excuse why it is not.

City Park too. It does a lot of rounds for being a 9 hole.

they were supposed to put a bar in Webb in the large room next door but it never happened.

Really wish they would target making it profitable so we would have better golf club support.
