Lots of tour usage this week besides the Ping Staffers like Finau.

Guys like Ancer, Scheffler and Reed.

I hit a 10.5 demo today with the Rouge 130 shaft, it really wants to go straight and the length is as good as anything out there.

I hope to try the LST version next week.

It’s probably incredible.

G410 LST was a stupid good driver, probably best Ping ever made.

They have been crushing in drivers lately.

Hit the 9º LST today. Ridiculously straight and forgiving.

I will probably be pulling the trigger soon.

I got a fitted G410 LST a few months ago. Best equipment purchase I’ve ever made

One of the nerds put together a comparison. 410 was slightly longer and the 425e was slightly straighter.

Gonna keep my 410 for now

I hit it along side my 410 on the range, didn't really notice any big gains or certainty no losses.

Like I said earlier, it really wants to hit the ball straight which is a blessing since I hit a hard draw that will hook in a second.

I’d say buy it if you bag a G30 or older.

Doesn’t make sense to get it if you have any of the newer generations of drivers.

I am a sucker for new stuff.

My wife and I were never able to have children so I have to spend my disposable income on something.

Changing drivers has never hurt my game. Now 3 woods are a different story....

Got fitted for a G425 Max today. Honestly thought I would end up without anything beating out my current SIM setup, or maybe a new SIM2.

I'm a super low spin player who makes up for it with high launch. Was hitting 16.5° launch with sub-1700 RPM spin with my SIM. Miss is a low screaming hook with spin around 1300 RPM, which is exactly what I see on the course when I'm not swinging well.

Hit the SIM2, which was giving me the same numbers as my SIM. Going with lower loft helped the launch angle, but dropped spin even more, which was no bueno. SIM2 Max wasn't much better. Couldn't get spin high enough.

PING G425 Max 10.5° (set to 9.5°) was instant optimized numbers. Launch around 14° with 2,100 RPM with the Tensei AV Raw stiff.

Moved to the Callaway Epic Speed and got slightly higher ball speed number than the G425, but again couldn't get the spin high enough. Epic Max had a better flight but launch was still a touch high and had some mishits that I lost way short.

Went back to the G425 Max and it was like auto repeat for every swing. Perfect launch and spin every time. Even a few mishits ended up with acceptable numbers.

I didn't find the sound of it to be objectionable like some have mentioned.

Ordered the G425 Max and will report back when it arrives.

I am really interested in this driver as well. I hit an older driver (Callaway XR 16), but I tend to pull it on my mishits. I am also a bit frugal, hence an older cheaper driver.

I guess I need to go test this out, how much am I going to fall in love if I do?

I have the XR16 too and it’s a very good club...shaft really makes the most difference as the heads are all really really close. Side by side there’s just a couple yards difference in my XR, Rogue, and Mavrik. It’s a feel/sound difference mostly.

If you like hitting the ball straight, you will be buying the G425 flowers on Valentine's day.

Years ago, the ping rep sold me a TISI 8.5 Driver at his cost, it had a Fuji Pro95 shaft in it.

I use to bomb that thing.

Hit the G425 Max yesterday in a 9 degree with the Tensei stiff shaft. Balls off the toe that typically go OB left for me were finding the left side of the fairway.

I want to hit the G425 LST and then make a decision on which to purchase.

The sound off the face is a little offputting, but who cares what it sounds like when you're in the short grass more.

Was planning on getting fit and was interested in the 425. Guess my Callaway Epic SZ got nervous and I was a driving God on Friday.

Amazing how that happens. I ordered the PING G425 after my fitting last week, and I drove the ball incredibly with my SIM in the two rounds I've played since.
