Good luck. Those Donald Ross greens are going to
tear you a new one.

I think I’m one of the few golfers doesn’t have any interest in going to play at Pinehurst. For me personally I like playing courses with great views, Torrey pines/pebble.

Or it may be because i know there is no way I could shoot under 120 on #2.

I have heard the experience is next to none at pinehurst. Enjoy and let us know how it was.

Torrey pines

A thread on GolfWRX of most disappointing courses, Torrey was voted as the most. Played Pebble...don’t think I would play it again.

I would probably have more enjoyment playing Southern Pines/Mid Pines, Tobacco Road, and Pine Needles over #2.

What courses are you guys playing?

We have a group headed out there in August. Currently set to play #2, #4, #7, #8, and #9. Have seen mention of Dormie Club, Tobacco Road, Pine Needles. Are we missing the boat not playing those?

Watch Eric Anders Lang and No Laying Up YouTube vlogs on Tobacco, Pines and Dormie. Their vlogs make me want to play those courses.

That’s unfortunate. Tobacco Road is on my list. All of Bandon Dunes.

I’ve heard pebble is great, but not worth the price anymore. $600 a round is insane.

I played pelican hill and the views were stunning.

Enjoy. I went 3 years ago and played #2 and #8. Going again in October and playing a lot more:

Tobacco Road
#8, #9
#2
#4
Cradle a few times. I love that place. Understand it's not great views but man it's not like being in that little town that is all about golf.

Pebble is worth it IMO, despite the price, assuming you get it on a good weather day. That place is heaven when sun is out and shining. I'd pay more.

I’m only 31, once i am making more I’m sure I’ll end up playing it. I am hoping to have a group do Bandon in the next 3 years at some point.

I was there for the whole week of the fourth. That's my favorite place in America. Have fun my guy!
