Have one ready to purchase on Amazon. Are these fun? Or is it boring considering you just hit a net?

I have one and like it. Get a decent mat.
You don’t get to see the ball flight which sucks.

It has helped me alot.
I struggle with lateral movement and therefore solid contact. So I practice and try to hit the center of the face and have found that has helped me in my game when I am out on the course. As long as I have solid contact, when I am on the course and have a target I do pretty well. I dont necessarily need the ball flight to work on that at home. Also I can just go in the back yard and take some video of my swing as well.
I get at least 15-20 swings in a day working on center face contact since I cannot get to the range as often as I would like with work and kids

This helped me tremendously with drilling for compression and rotation without wasting a whole bucket of balls hitting half shots for my drills.
I bought a heavy duty (not premade) net from Amazon that was 10x15 and built a frame for it out of PVC.
It’s nice to be able to sneak outside for 10 min when a new swing thought clicks in your head without having to load up and drive to the range.
Edit: I also bought a turf mat from Amazon. The downside is you cannot see ur ball path but ur surely can hear a flushed shot and that provides decent feedback.

Get a rucket sports net. Durable and easy to takedown and put up

I wouldn't say it's fun, but it definitely helped me with ball striking and consistency.

Home Depot. Com has a good one that folds up like an umbrella. Netplayz.
