Is it worth riding from BR to play?

I wouldn’t drive there, play and then come right back. They’re both really good courses, though.

Easily but obviously spend the night..those two courses together are better than any coast golf although Fallen Oak and Biloxi golf is really good too

Yes, but stay overnight.

Mossy Oak is spectacular.

Mossy Oak is incredible because there is no other course like it. It is incredibly demanding. There are quite a few holes that take driver out of your hand and if you miss by a yard, you lose a ball. There are a few greens that if you miss the hole on a 3 footer down hill, you will have a 30 yard pitch coming back.

Old Waverly deserves its rep but I wouldn't drive very far just to play Mossy Oak. If you're there for 2 or 3 days you'd want to play it for a change of scenery; that's the only reason I'd play it.

This sounds horrible.

It's worth a long weekend playing three rounds of golf. You can stay in Old Waverly condos or Mossy Oak town homes on the tenth hole. You have to get a fore caddie for Mossy Oak.

Yes. Do it. Rent a house at Old Waverly. Take a steam and eat some soft serve ice cream. Go visit The Pony!

You could also play at Dancing Rabbit on the way up or back from West Point. Dancing Rabbit has 2 Fazio/Pate golf courses that are tops in the country. Through March you can make a $50 bet at the Sports Book and get a voucher to play a round of golf for $30!!!

Make sure to stop at the turn for ice cream at waverly. Mossy Oak clubhouse is in the process of being built right now so depending on when you go it could be finished. Not that it really matters but the clubhouse should have some good views of the course and food/drink.

I recommend eating at Anthony’s good food market in West Point if you make the trip. It is a brown bag place so bring liquor if that’s your choice of drink
