95% of the people buying this gimmick won’t get fitted properly so that it works properly. Lie angle, loft, ball position, and setup will all affect the view of the ball.

I'm surprised this is conforming. It's one thing to have a line painted on the putter or an arrown on a driver, but this seems to help with more than just alignment. How is this different from me putting some sort of level on the top of my putter to make sure it's aligned properly and sitting in the correct position at address? Would that be legal too?
