The Saudi's are not in LIV for the money - the way it is set up it is a money loser. This is "frick you" money being tossed out to destroy the PGA and the United States' control over the strongest golf tour in the world.

Hopefully, it will fizzle out. WHo wants to watch a "no cut" tournament where some player is on the course on the final day 25 over par!

I want the U.S. to have the premier golf tour, not Saudi Arabia.

I thought it was a pissing match between two saudi families since one was putting a lot of money into the European tour. I could have that wrong though.

Hell, I don't play golf and rarely watch it. But, I do not like to see foreign scum using their money to destroy an American sports institution.

LOL at "capitalism."

Capitalism would be the Saudis setting up a tour designed to ultimately make money - to compete based upon a rational business plan. This is government backed plan to throw as much shite money as possible into the LIV tour - without any capitalistic desires. "I'm going to destroy you because I have more money to toss away" is not capitalism.

Good, I'm pulling for this. Won't see any pride logos on the LIV tour.

Like you, I'm very tired of the constant barrage of "gay pride" stuff. But, not enough to have the Saudis come in to control professional golf.

It is harder to do in team sports and football is not presently as worldwide a sport as golf. But, he'd be pissed.

What if the Saudis came in to set up minor league football - paying big money to the best high school recruits to keep them from playing college football?
