Exactly. If you’re going to talk about golf and create golf content leave politics out of it all together. If you can’t play one of Trump’s courses without not bringing it up, or without fear of people trying to cancel you for playing it anyways, then just don’t even play the course.

Between NLU and Foreplay, I'm going with NLU. Foreplay has its moments, but, on the whole, I find Foreplay to be whimsical and lacking when it comes to the analytics.

A lot of other posters here have mentioned the Shotgun Start, and I agree with them and vouch for that pod. I have not seen many mentions, but I also think Fried Egg is equally as solid.

Full disclosure, I just finished the penultimate episode of that season. So, if Trump comes up in the last one, disregard the following statements:

Man, based on this thread, I was expecting a whole lot more Trump bashing when they were discussing the possibility of creating Coul Links. He wasn't even the focal point of the discussion. It was mostly about the arguments of whether this course would be good for Scotland or not. His name was mentioned a couple of times, and, when it was mentioned, it was mostly about another course he created that hasn't worked out well for the area. It didn't really have anything to do with his politics.

From what I recalled, it wasn't anywhere near a level of commentary to justify this level of critique, unless you're a "anything you say slightly negative of Trump means you voted for Obama and hate America" guy.

But it's on my to watch list, so I can go back and confirm and give a better opinion.

That's what I thought after watching. The first guy that mentioned it in this thread said he had to take a break from NLU for a while because of it. Now, I'm questioning how he watches anything if that little commentary ruffled his feathers that much. Hell, it was really just Soly relaying things said by Scottish bureaucrats.

yeah I really didn’t remember much of what happened in the episode. just moved on to enjoy their other content. just like a show can have a bad episode.

they actually posted a tweet today about how some people complain if it’s a long pod and others get excited. in the content game you just can’t ever please the entire audience. just have to do what you feel is right and move on.

OK. I watched the episode you were talking about in Tourist Scotland and that isn't the episode they were talking about. It was Doonbeg in the Ireland trip. And they definitely get into it a touch more. Basically say it's a Trump course, explain that you can take or leave it, and moved on. Definitely more than they got into on the Scotland video, but not enough to get upset over, IMO.

Well, that makes more sense now.

It was the Ireland series like was mentioned below. I feel like they basically just bashed the course because it was owned by trump. They clearly didn’t give doonbeg much of a chance. I still watch their stuff just feel like they could’ve done better in that instance

After watching the group play Tilt for a couple of seasons of Tourist Sauce, I really want to give this game a try. We have a group going to Scottsdale in May, and the handicap variation is huge. I think this game could make each hole a lot more fun. If our worst guy is getting 2 strokes on a hole, his seemingly boring bogey putt could be a huge net birdie to make things very interesting.
