We are working on planning a guys trip to Natchez in November. The only reason we are picking Natchez is because it is relatively close and has a sports book in their casino. Plan is to golf Saturday and Sunday and gamble on Saturday night. For anyone that has played, which two of Panola Woods, Beau Pre, or Duncan Park would you play and how would you rate them?

I have only played Beau Pre. Played it last weekend for the first time in several years. It was in fantastic shape and only $50. The greens kicked my arse though.. Felt like putting on concrete.

Beau Pre

Duncan Park

Eat and drink good, headed up this weekend, played 2 weeks ago in a tournament at Beau Pre and course was in great shape. The drive to Panola Woods isn’t worth it IMO.

Stay at The Grand. Play at Beau Pre. If you stay at The Grand, you are right there close to the casino. There’s a shuttle. You are walking distance from Bowie’s (has a new name), The Corner Bar, and Fat Mama’s.

Played Beau Pre recently and it was in magnificent shape. I played there on a Saturday and played again on Sunday morning it was so good. Well worth the trip and your guys will have a blast downtown and at the casino. Before you go to the casino contact Kevin Kickels or Craig Jackson (sports book) to get lined up.

Got a new born at home so very much looking forward to the weekend.

Definitely stick with Beau Pre. Duncan is muni course. Panola is an old school 9 hole course.

Play Beau Pre Saturday. After you play it you may decide to play it again Sunday. Given the choice, that is what I would do over Duncan Park or driving to Panola.

Beau Pre is one of the best values of any course within three hours of Baton Rouge.
