Mixed/Combo iron sets?

0I've always found this idea attractive, but have never pulled the trigger. Any of you with good/bad experiences? If good, who's lineup does it the best?

How do you like the 765? Easy to hit? Forgivable?

You can always have them bent to offset any significant variance.
I've been looking at making a mixed set with Bridestone irons. 3-5 in the JGR CB Forged, with 6-9 in the TourB X-Blade.
