Kind of off topic, but I really like the trend of long par 3s/drivable par 4s. To me it adds a lot more strategy and thinking than a split fairway or something like that

Same here. I love a drivable par 4.
Long par 3s are fine as long as there are some shorter ones on the course.

It would have to be a really short par 4 for me to drive it....like 200 yards.

I’ve played it twice, it’s pretty solid. Only played the old course once but I prefer the new one.
It’s definitely not “holy crap this course is amazing” but it is a very solid course that offers very good risk reward playing. Some of the new greens are the biggest I’ve ever seen.
