So i accepted an invite to play in a Member/Guest at a very nice club. The guy that invited me hasn’t mentioned me paying ant of the entry fee so I don't know if it is proper to ask or just let it lie? I am traveling and paying 3 nights at a hotel so i do have some cash invested already.

Depends on your relationship with the member. If you’re a client of his, let him pay. If he’s your buddy, pay your own way.

Thanks for the help. I am a business client of his wife, so I guess I’ll just assume she is paying unless he says something. I got him a gift to thank him for the invite.

Also acceptable is inviting him to a round of golf at an upscale semi-private club on your nickel.
