So I’m hitting my irons up thru 6 pretty solid but I’m having issues with my 4 and 5 being a low hook.
It can happen with my 6 and 7 sometimes but rarely with any other.
You think this is a tempo thing?

Make sure you aren’t setting up closed to your target line. That’s the first thing I’d check.

Hmm. I actually think that may be the case. I’m off the course but I feel that.

Check your ball position.

Long irons have a tendency to make you swing flatter producing a low hook.

That's what made me go to a hybrid instead of 3 & 4 irons.

Whenever I’m hitting hooks this is usually my biggest issue. And the more closed I get the further left it goes.

Just because it's longer doesnt mean you need to change your swing.

Just back up similar to 9iron to PW

I'm struggling with longer clubs as well.. I'm hitting a real strong power fade(slice..lol) at the moment though..

I'm guessing mine is grip since the close face isn't closing..

Could be another contributing factor for you except you're doing the complete opposite of whatever the hell I'm doing..

This is what I was thinking. Ensure you're taking a wider stance. It was like an "A-Ha" moment for me once I was told that the ball position shouldn't change, your stance should widen the longer the club
