I can tell what kind of golfer you are by your suggestion to get Footjoys when making a recommendation for a walking shoe. They are terrible for walking. Stay in your cart.

Only about 30% wear Footjoy. Of those, most wear the Pro/SL, not the typical Footjoy styles. A lot more wear Nike and Adidas now.

G Fore. They aren't cheap but they are extremely comfortable.

If I'm walking I'm going for max comfort. To me those are the Ecco's, but Sketcher is a close second. The footjoys I've had aren't close.

I have a pair of Skechers work boots that I wear daily, they are comfortable enough but haven’t lasted as long as I would hope. That said, I have heard wonderful things about their golf shoes and from all groups. They aren’t pretty that I have seen but they are supposed to be really comfortable and when walking, that is number one.
