Thanks. That seems to be what AI has to say. And it also says the fee is intended to make money for the club. At what rate simply depends based on rate of play, location, etc. Based on the number of rounds at Pelican though, they seem to be using it for some major profit to their club. They got 18k rounds in 2025. I’m guessing that’s both courses though.

I believe Pelican's $28 per person cart rate is high. However, if that's the tradeoff for a well maintained course, I'll take it. I never have a complaint about the greens over there and I play it weekly, if not multiple times per week. I walk the Lakes course when the weather allows, since it's much more walkable and ride the Links course.

It seems like the BREC courses charge in the neighborhood of $14 per rider. I like to walk Copper Mill when possible and it's closer to $10 given the difference in the fees when walking versus riding.

. It used to be a 2 riders would split the $30, what is the fees for carts at Baton Rouge area courses.

Maybe the fee used to be 15 bucks but never in my 42 years on earth have i seen a cart fee actually split, its per golfer and its the same whether two people or one is in a cart.

I was president of our small club in north la in 22-23
We have 10 carts lease basic gas carts
110$ a month per cart
13k a year.
We charge 20 per person
Durning the summer month yes we make money off of it. But you have to keep that money in the bank because come oct-feb cart rentals drop. It’s mostly a break even or make a few thousand.
