Of the “nicer” courses

1.) Carter - even before they flipped. Just a meh finish to a great layout.
2.) Pelican - sure, the bunker is shaped like a pelican, but not very memorable.
3.) CM - would’ve been nice if they 2 tiered the green like on 9.
4.) Beaver - meh. At least it’s long unlike the rest of their 4’s.
5.) Island - has one of the more challenging finishes.
6.) Greystone - slightly better than Island because tee shot has some strategy involved

Carter for sure #1. The new #18 has always been a boring hole. Now all the trees down the left are basically gone and you can see the green from the tee

Island for sure when the long waste bunker was dug out to be a pond. I stood on that tee box last week 2 over for the round. Then pushed my drive into the pond. Doubled it. Even the layup shot is difficult.

Best finishing hole is probably Santa Maria. It's the only real risk/reward finishing hole in the group. 2nd would probably be the Island or Copper. Both are solid par 5's in my opinion. Carter is the best overall golf course, but I feel like the finishing hole should actually be #4/#13 because again, it's memorable and risk/reward.

Totally agree on Carter 18th. The cart path now looks like it runs almost down the middle of the fairway. Anything left was absolutely gone before they dozed all those trees. Now you can see the naked backs of the villas? They are also working on the back two tee boxes so it’s pushed up too far

Island has some major risk reward aspect to it. It is reachable with two bold shots that have to be well executed.

Everything by the green also slopes down to water.

Yeah they've got them moved way up from normal. Two weeks ago we all hit fairway woods and were just in front of the green right of the lake
