It is where I started playing golf back in '65, what is the course like now?

Back in the day it had the first Night Golf in the area, Back 9 was well lit, as you imagine Depth perception was key to success in Night Golf.

How is she looking?

I play in a weekly Saturday morning dogfight out there. It’s in good shape. In the last few years, they’ve planted more trees and trimmed up a bunch of them. It could still use some work, but for a cheap round, it’s great.

Early in the morning its a 6i and a wedge. If its summer and the ball is flying well in summer, tee up up and go for it.

I won the Dr. Pepper junior tournament there when I was a kid. Always thought it was a fun course.

Nice! My mom cleaned out her attic a few months ago. She found a trophy and birdie ribbons from the AGS junior tournament. 20 years later, I was the sitting president of AGS not knowing they were the organization that put on that tournament.

Muni will hold a special place. Won the Sheriff's tournament there in the late 90s

You and I must be about the same age. I too grew up playing Muni in Laffy in the mid-60s. Would ride the bus from the Saint-Street area. Good times.

Coach Chappy, I think I know you. I play at Vieux, Muni and Wetlands. Do you play on the Golfweek Am Tour?

I am playing this year. It’s my first year for am tour. If you play at muni, there’s a good chance we know each other.

I’m in AGS at muni
