Try to experiment with one before buying. Not for everyone and has a bit of a learning curve to it.

My biggest issue was trusting the alignment due to how it sets up. Much better luck with the more traditional looking Evnroll Zeros

Results vary.

So many choices in equipment now.

I tried a DF1, but I did not stick with it due to size.

I assume the newer one is more streamlined.
I probably should have given it more time, but it was BIG. Looking at it behind the golf ball was not comfortable for me.

Find someone who knows how to fit you for it.
They get good results when you have the right lie angle and shaft length for YOUR stroke. The built in forward press can throw some people off. Hit or miss if you pick one off the rack.

I was custom fitted for my DF3 and it took me a months to figure it out but now I don’t see myself using another putter. I learned that I need to have the ball position near the front of my stance. Also, you probably have to spend the extra money on getting a custom fit LAB putter because the whole technology is centered around your lie angle, shaft length. I went with the heavier head option but it still is hard to dial in on long lag putts because the head is light. The only way I would get another putter may be for the new steel face insert.

See if you can find one to demo before buying. If you can't find one anywhere, at least demo a center-shafted putter. I cannot emphasize how much I hated the look of a center-shafted putter. I couldn't get comfortable looking at it.

Use the online fitting tool if you get one, I took mine to a nearby club fitter after i ordered it and he said he would have given me the exact same measurements as the online fitting that LAB did.

It’s very different. The hardest thing I had to learn was distance control with it. Still struggle occasionally on really fast Greens with it.

But when I’m on with it, best I’ve ever had

Went from DF3 to DF3i and the insert definitely improved my lag putting, but just like every putter it has its bad days

I have the OZ1 with the insert and it is a great putter.
