These companies pursuit of raw distance has given us these clubs that are damn near 2 clubs stronger than they used to be making it challenging with hold greens with clubs you typically in the past were able to... But hey who doesn't want to hit a 7i 200 yards.. Like take a look at the TM Qi Max Irons.. the 7i in that set is 28 degrees ... the 5i in my set of Mizunos is 27... That's crazy to me
