I like how you said it with such conviction for so long. You talked down to people that believed differently even though you were wrong. You just don't know nearly as much about the game as you think you do

I was wondering if you'd show up here. I was amazed at the call you made 11 years ago after Tiger went down to YE Yang, but I thought you were going to end up being right.

Not to marginalize Tigers performance, but Francesco helped him. A lot. Very happy for TW, bit I look forward to the incredibly talented young players who will push/surpass him with their game.

The entire premise behind his argument was stupid to say the least. He said he would never win again because people weren't scared of him anymore. Is anyone scared of Zach Johnson, Mike Weir or Danny Willet? If you've seen tiger play or even hit balls on the range, you can see just how talented he is. Even at 43, he's still, in my opinion, the second best tee to green player on the PGA Tour. He just used Yang as an excuse for his disdain for Tiger.

Frankie was also scrambling at an astronomically high rate. He was 17/17 in scrambling at one point. That isn't sustainable. Also, someone that can't get to 170 ball speed needs to drive it much more accurately than he did today.

This is a good point. Like an old saying, two things that are not long for this world is dogs chasing cars and pro's putting for pars. It was inevitable that it was going to catch up to him eventually.

I had Molinari in a golf pool for the masters. After 4 holes I knew Molinari was history. You can't scramble all day at Augusta, especially in the last group with Tiger. Tiger out played them by not over playing the course. Fairways and greens mostly and let the other players try to catch you.

A few years ago I doubted if he’s ever win a major again..but after last year it was obvious that his back issues were behind him and he’d have plenty of chances to win again. I still think he fails to break jacks record because the other players are so good and his A game isn’t any better than the other top players A game. He has to play well and find a weekend that the other players don’t, or not at their best. (Same applies to everyone). The golfing gods basically crushed his competition on 12 with brooks, Molinari and finau all rinsing it. Truly seemed like fate at that point.

At that point I knew someone was going to have to make an eagle to beat Tiger.
