How'd your round go today?

Was my 4th round tracking my scores and being completely honest. Have shot 88, 92, 95 and 98 in the last 4 rounds. Working to establish a real handicap for the first time.
-Shot a 98 on a very tough course in Eastern Washington.
-Played with the same ball for 8 holes
-Hit my 6-iron about 140y and the club head snapped off and flew about 25y
-Drank a beer a hole after the turn
-Found 6 balls while searching for my own
Things I learned:
-I hate golf
-I love golf
-I should buy new clubs if I'm going to take this seriously

Our threesome got paired with a single and ole boy was throwing clubs.
Im knocking the hell out of my hybrid though. Workability of that thing is through the roof.

I can’t hit those things to save my life. Really need to work on them though, seen my buddies get out of jams with them.

I couldn’t hit my 3h for the longest time & now it’s my go to club for a 200+ shot. Just finally figured it out one day

Was - 3 thru 11. Couldn't keep it going and finished +2.

Shot a 106 and shotgunned plenty of beers. My kind of round.

My neighbor and I played yesterday and after 9 holes we decided to go drink beer.
There wasn't a hint of a breeze and the heat was intense.

A text to my wife from the course: “I hate golf”
A follow up text 20 minutes later: “I love this game”

Found 6 balls while searching for my own
Lots more on #3, #4, etc.
One of these days I’m going to spray some serious off on me and take the last tee time and do that. Should get enough to sell and pay for a few rounds.
Assuming I don’t get snakebit.

Just played 9.
40 with a birdie, 5 pars, a bogey, and a double/double finish.
You know, consistent.

40-41 at Oakbourne. I still can't decide if I hate or love the course. Felt like I had 10 3-4 footers that I had to start well outside the hole. Made for a long grindy day in that heat.

Played in a 3 man scramble at Stonebridge GC in Bossier City over the weekend. We shot 61,60 and came in a 3way tie for 2nd in our flight. Won our money back plus $150. Thought I was going to have a heat stroke, we lost a lot of steam over the last 4 holes on both days it was so hot. Over 100 both days, I don't know why I do this to myself sometimes but I love it and I get to play with my son.

45-50. Thought teeing off early might help from this oppressive heat, nope. And again, we had to wait every shot but chipping and putting. I'm not a fast player, but I like to get in a routine for every shot. Spent most of the time looking for shade. Horrible round. Think I'll take off until October.

Buddy of mine made an Ace on a 148yrd Par 3. First guy up hit a great shot about 16” and started joking to beat that shot. Baw hit a great high 9iron that hit the bottom of the pin and luckily he dunked it in. He made it on the fly
