How often do you get new clubs?

I've had the same set of irons and driver for about 4 years. That's playing prob twice a week with a couple range visits mixed in as well. I don't feel like they've lost anything at this point but feel it's a lot of wear and tear.
How often should you replace irons and driver on average?

I think drivers are good for about 4-5 years and irons 6-8 years. Iron technology doesn't change as much as with drivers.

Anxiously awaiting Front9Bandit's response of every 3 months

Driver it kind of depends. When something comes out that's a lot better I try to scoop one up if I can. Would have liked to get the Epic, but I bought an M2 just last year.
Irons, use 'em until they are just worn out. Some of the best players I know use 20 year old irons, some use the brand new stuff. Irons don't really change.

I played with a set of King Cobra irons with graphite shafts for 20 years. Only quit when I broke my 7 iron and got some Taylor made 3 years ago.
Those irons lasted a few thousand rounds.
Drivers are a different story. About every 5 years or so for them.

I have the same starter set since 2007ish. Just got a free set of M2s from work and still deciding between a few drivers. I was probably never going to buy them so it was nice.

Just bought the new Ping G irons a few months ago. I previously had a set of Ping ISI irons. So, every 20yr or so.
Driver, every 3yr.
Fairway, every 5yr.

What kind of bag is that? Or is it just an insert to keep the clubs still?

I get a new driver every two or three years but always ended up putting the old Taylormade R9 back in the bag. Only had two sets of iron since I started playing golf and have yet to notice a wear pattern on the face. Wedges seem to wear the fastest. New addition this year was DJs spider putter.
