Haven’t played in a long time there. Have heard some good, some bad.

What’s the board’s thoughts?

Curious as well. I haven't been in over six months or so. Love playing out there

Played 2 weeks ago and I thought it was crap. Traps terrible, greens not over seeded and were bouncy/rough. I love their layout but they’re hurting financially and it shows. Paid $50 to play but wasn’t worth it.

The BBQ chicken pizza after the round was legit tho!

Played over Christmas. Haven’t played since 1999. Really sad to see it deteriorate as bad as it has. 2nd hole looked like junk yard behind the green. Sand traps were mini ponds with little sand. Greens were terrible.

Beaver Creek is much better at this time, and Beaver Creek isn’t that great.

#2 used to be a Par 5 before they lost it to the flood. They shortened the hole and built a new green and made it a Par 4

Ah gotcha. I never had the chance to play it when it was in it's prime. The first time I played it a few years ago, the old man in the pro shop told me that #2 green would play drastically different than the other 17 greens

Beaver is Augusta compared to the Bluffs.

I would hold off on judging courses during the winter down here. The grass is dormant and yea boxes and greens are thin and torn up because of the traffic and no growing grass.

Played the Bluffs today. Green fee, cart, and lunch for $35 + tax senior special.

It was ok. Everything is dormant/brown. Greens putted pretty well. Lies are very tight. Very little rough. Was worth the $35.

For the guy dissing Beaver Creek. Beaver Creek has been in fantastic condition all year. Played there Saturday. Greens rolled great. It is winter now - can’t expect perfect conditions.

The greens roll great except for the unrepaired ball marks but they are winter fast.
