If by primo you mean firm AF but still rolling decent for the play it gets then yes

My son played a couple of high school matches there, everything is firm and the mosquitos will carry you off if stand still too long

It's a shame BREC allows the courses to fall into such poor condition.

I would never thought I would say Clark is better that Webb and Santa Maria but it is. I must say that Webb is in better shape than it was a month ago. Was surprised at Santa Maria greens when I went there Monday.

BREC golf in general is a joke. That being said the the few games I’ll join in on those courses, Clark is the move.

I need to get back out there. Haven't been since late last summer and I really enjoy the setup there.

Played Santa Maria 3 times in the last 2 weeks. Yes, the poa is tough on some of the greens. But you can tell that the greens are showing growth now and are coming out of dormancy. I understand the issues greenskeepers have with poa, and while everyone wants to throw BREC under the bus, it's a tough deal to control with the resistance poa has developed to herbicides. Once temps get up, it'll all die off.

I expect Webb’s greens to be a little better this summer given that they didn’t overseed with rye in the winter.

Beaver Creek did tho.

A friend works there and told me about the upcoming plans for the course. They’re trying I’ll give them that but the number of rounds and the weather took a big toll on them

What are said plans?

I heard about 3 years ago that they were going to expand the greens on #10 and #16, but I've seen nothing on that front.

Basically revamping the greens with better attention to spray schedules and care. Trying to better condition what they have and then reworking some of the surrounds and surfaces.

But like you said that’s been in the works for a while.
