1 hour.
Loosen up.
Work through some pitches, chips, etc.
Hit a few short irons, the 5 wood, then driver.
Play the first couple of holes mentally.
Putt until comfortable with speed.

I haven't done that in a long time. I used to play mental rounds on the range for practice. I may start doubt that again.

On wednesdays (play after work) I usually roll up about 20 minutes before tee time and chip.
If I'm playing on the weekend I like to get there about an hour before tee time and go to the range. Hit about 10 short chips, 5-10 pitches, 5-10 short irons, 5-10 mid irons, 5-10 drives. Leftover time on the putting green until teeing off.
I've found a drastic difference in my first few holes when I chip beforehand vs when I don't

I just started this and this is the only way I will hit balls for a while, a lot of dudes on tour do this.
On the range I will play the course Im about to play. Ill hit driver 7 iron if 1 is a par 4. If 2 is a par 3 ill hit a 6 iron (or whatever club fits the yardages). If 3 is a par 5 Ill hit driver then 3 or 5 wood.
I watched a video Mike Malaska did and he made a great point, you hardly ever hit the same club twice in a row in golf, why would you practice that way?
Malaska said it took Nicklaus about a hour and a half to hit a bucket because this is how he hit balls most of the time.

Depends on how hot it is. Recently been like 45 minutes. I hit driver, mid iron and two wedges on the range. Then go chip. Then go putt.
If not oppressive heat I like about an hour.
Same for me. I pretty much just hit enough balls focusing only on feel and timing, and getting my back warm. Not worried so much about direction and contact. Just trying to get loose. Do that for about 30 minutes, then go putt for 10-15 minutes. Only putt 5-10 footers for a while then go to 30+ footers, then back to 2-3 footers and then tee off.

I stretch at home before the round (I do this every day anyway). I try and get there an hour or hour and 15 early. I take my time getting ready, then I hit ~20 balls on the range, strictly to losen up and figure out what my best shot shape is that day, are my shots flying straight or naturally fading or drawing. Learning that allows me to know what shot is the most comfortable for me on the course, and slight fade is my preferred shot but some days it’s not flying like that, hitting those balls on the range allows me to figure that out.
Then I grab 6 balls to chip and putt. If there is an area for it I like to chip all 6 at a spot, and then putt them out, I’ll do this to 5 different spots. Then I go to the putting green and hit lag putts concentrating on speed control.
If there is not space to chip and putt in the same area, I will chip first ~30 balls to various targets and lies, concentrating on hitting my landing spots and paying attention to roll out, then I’ll go putt

Depends on the time of day and type of game for me. If it's a blue hair crack of dawn tee time, I'm walking up to the tee about 10 minutes before. Mid-morning money game tee time, I'm probably there an hour before to hit a few on the range, stretch and maybe a quick de-stresser shot. Afternoon drinking game, I'm there that same hour prior but I'm just there to prime the pump with 2 or 3 cold ones.

I usually get there at least 15 minute early, earlier if they have a driving range. I like to chip, and putt and see which way the driver going today(goes the opposite way on the 1st tee). Most times I take a aspirin a hour before I tee off because sometimes my back wants to start hurting after 9 holes.
I just wish that my playing partners would show up early. Most of the times they are late. If I have to wait, I can almost guarantee the first couple of holes will be bad because I will still be pissed.
