Invited (Club Corp) is actually saying in the future they will only be adding higher end clubs towards their portfolio. As someone who was a member and employee of Club Corp in the past I'd expect them to change business plans any minute.

Haven't heard whose going after CBigg but wonder if it's the group buying Northgate and Walden.

Their current plan is higher end equity clubs to take over, and transitioning more clubs in the portfolio to “premier” clubs

Oh yeah, #premier

I’m at woodlands cc and it’s an on going joke every time they change something that was previously working or refuse to fix something that obviously needs to be fixed. They just keep raising rates bc I guess we stupidly keep paying it while getting a worse experience

This comes a few days after they tell us our dues went up more than 10%. If it isn’t looking better by this time next year, I’m finding a new club.

I assume this is Sweetwater? You might look at Riverbend. Met a guy last week who said he and quite a few former SW guys had recently moved over. You might want to get in your application quickly though - initiation goes from $6k to $10k on October 1st.

I was a member at Sweetwater for 2 years and was glad to leave there. 4 of us joined after Fort Bend closed and we all quit it.

I can get along with anyone, but they had some of the biggest jerks that I have ever been around.
