So, it has nothing to do with them being suspended from the tour? If the LIV players win the lawsuit none of them are going to play tour events? Thank you for correcting me.

BTW, we already have Mingo. This board doesn’t need another prick.

Or maybe rebuttal is just giving you a hard time?

Explain, logically, why anyone from LIV wants to play the PGA regular season tour. They left because of the money, so it's not the winning purse.

The PGA has their FedEx Cup Playoff. LIV is going to be soon dishing out $50,000,000 dollars in their championship purse. There is also a bonus pool for the best performers throughout.

Why are LIV golfers wanting back into the PGA when they left and are now getting rich for their efforts?

Let’s ask the 3 players that sued for an emergency injection to be allowed to play

Quit buying their gas and maybe you can put them out of the golf business.

I don't get why they are so upset. I get why the PGA is upset. But, other golfers upset at other golfers who chose to play on another tour doesn't make any sense.

Because there is only so much sponsorship money available. If LIV succeeds and pulls money from Tour sponsors, then the legacy Tour players earn less money

Maybe they just want to play more than 18 tournaments. Maybe they want to play the week before a major. I don’t know there could be many reasons. Do you honestly think they would not play some events if they could. Why did those three file the TRO?

Great idea, seriously, why don't you ask these 3 guys why they wanted to compete for the championship? Everyone is allowed to have their own motives, what did each guy hope to gain? That way we would know a lot more than the propaganda the golf channel is feeding us. The one that is screaming at the top of their voice, "the LIV players want back in."

But when you get through interviewing them there will still be about 50 LIV golfers who have moved on to their new league.

There are many reasons and the ones most PGA loyalists are debating are coming out of Jay Monahan's mouth. Patrick Reed is playing in an Asian tourney this weekend. Monahan can treat LIV like any other ProTour with his many "releases" and so can any other tour. They all have been doing it for decades. That is the "level" playing field I was discussing.

Until the LIV golfers can earn OWGR points from their own tourney this could well become the biggest issue. It could also be the main reason the 3 LIV golfers want into the FedEx points. Next year's world rankings and major invitation.

Isn’t hard to understand really.

There are players on tour that other players just flat out don’t like. That a number of them have headed off to LIV I think most would simply say good riddance. But LIV players are trying to have their cake and eat it too, which the players on the PGA tour know will weaken it.

I would dearly love if The Masters came out and told LIV players their tournament is history, tradition and most importantly invitation only. Don’t bother looking for an invitation.

Okay, this is an issue I was wondering about. Younger players on LIV wanting to play in the majors. I get it. I don't agree with the Masters comment. The players that wanted in the FedEx were players that earned the spot with points. But I also think that they made a decision that they knew was going probably make the PGA ban them from the field.
The US Open and the Master are different. The US Open is the USGA and maybe they make the LIV guys go through qualifying and the Masters can do what they want. I think it would be very disappointing if they banned former Champions.

Not sure why they are so eager to go back to a place where they are not wanted.

They made their choices, stop acting like spoiled children.

Edited: So it looks like Nobody has answered the question.
Why are Profesional golfers who play golf for money upset with golfers who choose to play on another tour?

Not sure why you expect anyone here on this message board to have the definitive answer to that question. I'm sure the reasons vary from golfer to golfer and we can only guess as to what those reasons are.

There are plenty of places they can play to earn OWGR points. One of them happens to be allied with LIV.

I started this thread and from the post and comments on others comments. You would think I am for all the changing to LIV. No I do not I love the product the PGA puts on. With that said have you ever done something for whatever reason and found out you made a bade decision? Well I think some of these younger guys are going to wish the would have stayed on the PGA Tour. A lot of people in the world go back to the job they just left. Let's take DJ The PGA eventually will pick and choose who they let back in. The others will have to going back to Q school or some other way of getting back.

Now, why does that sound like the lowest common denominator, and you look like you have a spoon in both hands?

Several of the players in the lawsuit aren’t suspended by the Tour because they aren't members of the Tour, due to their own resignation.

But frick it, who gives a shite about the facts

You clearly aren’t aware of the history here. Monohan and the tour could have crushed LIV a year ago. The players came to the tour with a proposal that would make the players some more money and give them some ownership in a new set of tourneys. PGA responded that ANY tournament not 100 percent owned by the tour would be considered hostile and laughed at the players.

Pga tour made its choices. They should stop acting like spoiled children.

Brandel Chamblee tweeted from his iPhone made by Chinese children who probably live in an internment camp that Bryson can't be a Christian because he took money from Saudi Arabia.

That's the kind of horseshite you are blindly sucking off.

But it's a couple players who want to play in a tournament they qualified for by their own merits who are the children.
